The Teaching School Hub has grown exponentially in its first year meaning we now need to expand our staffing team, to meet the demands of this thriving enterprise.

The Vantage Teaching School Hub is a professional community of regional, national and international partners who provide training and development giving the best possible start to early careers teachers and to teachers/leaders on the journey of continual professional development.

This post is a new position and presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing team with a newly appointed Teaching School Business Manager, giving you the opportunity to work together to build upon the great success of the previous year and embrace upcoming opportunities that will develop and expand the HUB further.

The right candidate will be a skilled administrator who will have a high level of organisational skills who will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person will enjoy working with people and ensuring they deliver the best customer service to all users of the VTSH, whilst delivering the administrative functions including the DfE approved programmes we provide for teachers and leaders at all career stages.

The right candidate will be able to effectively and efficiently plan and prioritising work with a high level of accuracy using available IT systems and social media platforms to achieve the work outcomes.

Please note there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be able to transport themselves across the region to attend events and meet delegates with other members of the VTSH team. Please refer to the job description for further information.

The successful candidate will work across the school, providing appropriate support for pupils of all abilities. You will support teaching staff with the children’s social, emotional and academic progress, delivering interventions to enhance pupils learning and provide supervision and care of children at various times of the day.

We are looking to appoint a self-motivated and highly organised individual to work for the English Faculty on a 1 year fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

You will provide extensive administrative support involving all aspects of IT, data entry, in class assistance and administrative duties. The successful candidate must therefore have excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform administrative tasks in an organised and methodical manner. You should be able to work productively in a busy environment and deal effectively with enquiries from within the Faculty and from the students. You should be able to work effectively on your own as well as within a team.

Working as part of a team, under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will provide efficient, effective and safe cleaning of the school premises in accordance with the cleaning specification, ensuring that the school is cleaned to a high standard.

Experience of cleaning on a school site would be an advantage but is not essential.
