St Cuthbert’s requires a part time Primary Site Facility Officer to be based initially at St Mary Queen of Martyrs VC Academy. The role of Site Facility Officer will be shared between two members of staff – one will work 22 hours per week and the other will work 15 hours per week, this will be decided upon appointment.

The postholder is responsible for the safe and secure custody of the site (opening up and locking up of the site and identifying any unauthorised persons or safety risks on site), the coordination of the operational, safety, security aspects required to ensure the school is fit for receiving staff and pupils. They will undertake general maintenance and routine repairs and refurbishment of equipment, school resources and premises. They will monitor the effective provision of facilities and utilities and organise all periodic maintenance service & inspections.

As well as being responsible for a primary academy, if required, you will at some point in the future also be responsible for supporting the training of an Apprentice Site Facility Assistant. Initially the post will be based at St Mary Queen of Martyrs, although you may at some other point be asked to move to another academy within the Trust.

In the role of Data Examinations and Curriculum (DEC) Assistant you will provide administrative support to the DEC Team with the production of data, data analysis, census returns, exams arrangements and exam administration and cover arrangements. Casual Exam Invigilators

£10:25 per hour

We are continuously looking to recruit additional exam invigilators for our forthcoming exam periods. Working hours are typically from 8.30am until 12.30pm for a morning session and 12.30pm until 4.00pm for an afternoon session. Flexibility is crucial to the effective invigilation of exams. These appointments are offered on a casual basis depending upon the examination timetables of the school.

This role is essential to the smooth running and integrity of the examination process. In addition to ensuring JCQ regulations are followed at all times, the successful applicants will be responsible for setting out and collecting exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam venues, supervising during the exams and collating the exam papers to be sent off to the Exam boards.

You must be reliable, confident and responsible and be able to deal calmly and appropriately with students to assist them in sitting their exams. Exam invigilation experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
